We are beyond stoked to publish this blog because it means that we have reached a small milestone for our business. $1000 donated through our Giving Back Initiative! Woohoo.
The first project we worked on was tree planting through an organisation called Carbon Neutral they are doing great things restoring old farm lands with native plants. If you haven’t heard of them you should check them out.
Once the severity of COVID-19 hit we decided to re direct where the donations were going.
We sat down and came up with three organisations that we felt could use the money through these tough times ( although we are aware there are many more ) Those charities are : RIzeup, Beyond Blue and Food Bank.
This goal was achieved through donating 10% from each product we sold, but in the future we aim to raise money through other avenues eg. fundraisers.
We are happy with our first goal on the BBL being ticked off, but we are already keenly working on another goal from the list.
